As parish activities continue to pick up this month, you'll notice we have a lot of new opportunities to give of our time, talent, and treasure. As always, thank you for your abundant generosity!
Franciscan Missionary Appeal
This year, a Franciscan missionary, Fr. Bernardo Moya, OFM was asked to visit our parish. Unfortunately, COVID-19 has prevented him from coming. However, Fr. Bernardo has sent us a one-page summary of an amazing project his order is undertaking in India. Please take a moment to read more about his work here:

If you are able to support the Franciscans in their missionary activity, Fr. Bernardo would be extremely grateful. There are a few ways to donate: You can pick up a missionary appeal envelope near the entrances at church or send in a check to Christ the King and write “missions” in the Memo. You can also donate on Christ the King's giving page by selecting the "Missionary Appeal - Franciscan Missions" fund:

We will be accepting those donations through the end of the month and sending them to India.
We're looking for Catechists to help with our Children's Catechesis Program this year!

Make a difference by serving with Alpha this Fall
Alpha is an experience that has impacted thousands of people all over the world. One guest who attended Alpha at Christ the King said, "I never felt close to God but today at Alpha I did." This year, we are grateful to offer Alpha in two formats: in-person small groups and over Zoom. To offer Alpha, many hands are needed to help. New Youth Mass
Our new bilingual Youth Mass will be offered every Sunday at 6:00 p.m. All are welcome and encouraged to attend. The youth will be participating in most ministries, as well as leading the Rosary at 5:20 p.m. After Mass, there will be a Youth Social Hour from 7:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m. (This event is bilingual.)
