We have three big announcements...
First, we have new office hours. Our office will be open to receive phone calls from 10:00 a.m. to 12:00 p.m. Monday through Friday. Feel free to leave a message at any time outside of office hours as well. We will get back with you!
Second, we are trying out a new option for Mass and rosary each day. In order to overcome a host of technical difficulties, we will will be pre-recording the Mass and rosary and then posting it online at their normal times. We hope to make it easier to participate in the Mass and rosary without interruptions and/or technical glitches due to significant issues with both Facebook and our internet connection at the church. Our sincere hope is that everyone continues to pray with our parish family each weekday at 7am in English or at 7pm in Spanish and on Sundays at 10:00am in English and 12:30pm in Spanish. Of course, you can always view the Mass and rosary at your convenience after those prayers are posted each day.
Third, Bishop Brennan has asked that tomorrow - Friday, March 27 - be observed as a special day of prayer and penance for the sick and for those who care for them. Please consider extra prayers and sacrifices, asking God to send his healing grace upon our world in this critical time. Also, Pope Francis will give an extraordinary “urbi et orbi” blessing (“to the city and to the world”) tomorrow at 1:00 p.m. in Rome (8:00 a.m. EST). This exceptional act is the pope’s invitation for Catholics everywhere to unite in prayer for those affected by COVID-19.
