Many people come to Alpha without knowing anybody else. By the end of Alpha, most people become good friends. Alpha is a great way to meet new people!
You're welcome to come to the first week or two and try it out for yourself. At any point, if you think Alpha isn't for you, that's not a problem. There's no pressure to come back and no charge.
To get the most out of the Alpha experience, it's best to attend each session. However if you need to miss a session, there's no need to worry.
Although covid has changed a lot of things, we're grateful to be able offer Alpha once again. Social distancing precautions will depend on current parish guidelines. Masks are not mandatory at this time but welcome for anyone wishing to wear them.
There's no obligation to share. Guests are welcome to share within their own comfort level or remain silent if they wish.
Alpha is absolutely free. There's no charge to attend.
If you invite someone else, you don't have to register with them. Depending on the circumstance, it can be helpful to attend with them. In either case, make sure that your guest knows how to register.
Yes, Alpha is for everyone! Alpha is run all over the world by Christians of various traditions and works very well when adapted within a Catholic parish. Fr. Mike Schmidtz, reknown speaker and author, says "Alpha is one of the best things happening in the Church today..."
